God, I Give You Thanks This Day for All Who Stand

God, I give you thanks this day for all who stand against hatred and injustice, against ignorance and fear in this world. I thank you for the strength of your Spirit that inspires and sustains them. And I pray Lord that you might make me one of them; that in my own small ways I might contribute to the realization of the kingdom of God in the here and now. Amen.
