O Christ, who laid aside your glory and lived as a man, that all men might see the light of God shining through a human life; help us to be more like you and to lay aside all that hides you from the peoples of other races-- our pride of race, of knowledge, of civilization; so that through our lives of prayer and communion and love, they may come to see you as you are, and hail you as their Lord.
