O Lord God When We Pray Unto Thee
O Lord God
when we pray unto thee
desiring well and meaning truly,
if thou seest a better way
to thy glory and our good,
then be thy will done,
and not ours:
as with thy dear Son
in the Garden of Agony,
even Jesus Christ our Lord.
